We at G.B. Proudfoot’s believe that ‘Valentine’s Day’ can be so much more than the obvious commercialized choices of a dozen roses or some heart-shaped box of chocolates. In fact, with so much of the country suffering at hands of terrible winter storms, why not transition this famous sweethearts’ day into a day of quality time shared with your loved one (snuggled up indoors, of course) where you can treat them to an evening of some good ol’ fashioned one-on-one face time, a relaxing bath, massage, and lovingly prepared desert? Sounds good to me!

Begin your evening by setting the mood for your sweetheart with a nicely drawn, warm bath that’s filled with a relaxing and soothing bath soak recipe. Then follow it with a relaxing foot or body massage compliments of yourself while your sweetie-pie dines on your homemade, organic, chocolate-dipped strawberries?

We’ve broken down the recipes for these simple ideas below, but we can’t resist in giving you one last tip on how to show your loved one last expression of your love, the ‘G.B. Proudfoot’s Valentine’s Gift Basket’. It’s a Valentine’s Day themed gift basket that has been filled with an 8 oz. jar of our Tea with Lemon & Honey Sugar Body Scrub (perfect for the drawn bath); a 4 oz. jar of our Calendula Salve (it’s just right for the moisturizing back or foot massage), an 8 oz. bottle of our Rosemary & Mint Liquid Bath Soap, and a .15 oz. lip tube of Cinnamon & Mint Lip Balm (which can make for some spicy kisses!). Enjoy your Valentine’s Day with that special person and please check back again soon for our continued articles and ideas!
